Pair & Use Your Controller On Smart TV
It’s easy to connect and use a controller on smart Tv but as a downside, this feature is only available on selected Smart TVs. Before we start pairing your controller let’s see the list of all the Smart TVs that support this feature.
Smart TVs with Controller Support

Sony Smart Tv
If you’re a Sony TV owner then there’s a bit of bad news for you. Sony TVs only support PS4 controllers and will not support any other ones. If you do have a PS4 controller with you, then here’s how you can connect it.
First, click the Home button on your Smart TV remote. After that, go to the settings and select the Bluetooth option. And then, switch on the Bluetooth and click on Add Device. And in order to put your PS4 controller on sharing mode, keep pressing on the PS and the Share buttons at the same time. (Don’t stop until the light bar begins) After doing that let the TV identify the controller and when it does, then simply click on OK to finish the pairing. And voila your controller is connected to your Sony Smart Tv and ready to use.
LG Smart TV
LG TVs support the controller, however, the steps are different for models before 2020 and models after 2020. But don’t worry we’ve mentioned all the steps in the article below, go ahead and check them out.
Steps For Models Before 2020 Click on the TV settings option. After that, go to the advanced settings. And then, select the Bluetooth controller via General Menu. Click on connect, and pair your controller to your Smart TV. Steps For Models After 2020 First, click on the Settings button on your TV remote. And then, select the All settings option. After that Navigate, General settings > Devices > External Devices > Connect Bluetooth Controller. And then, simply go ahead and pair your controller to your Smart TV.
Android TV
Not all Android based Smart TVs have controller support but if your TV does, then follow the steps mentioned below.
First, go to your android TV Menu. And then, click on the settings. After that navigate, to Remote and Accessories > Add accessory. And in order to pair your controller, press the power button for 3 seconds. And hopefully, you’ll see lights flash. After your controller is in pairing mode, select your controller on your TV and pair Them.
Samsung Smart TV – Controller Support
Not all Samsung Smart Tv models have the same procedure to connect the controller. But don’t worry we have done the research for you and here are all the models with their steps to pair your controller.
J Models (2015) First go to the Menu. Then navigate, System > Device manager After that, click on Bluetooth gamepad settings. and then go ahead and connect your Controller to your Smart TV. N, M, K Models (2016-2018) First, go to the settings. Then navigate, System > Input Device manager. After that, click on Add Bluetooth Keyboard & Gamepad. And then finally pair your controller to your smart tv. A, T, R Models (2019-2021) First, go to the settings Then navigate, General > External Device Manager > Input Device Manager. After that, click on Bluetooth Devices List. And then, pair your controller to your Smart TV. B Models (2022) First, go to all settings. Then navigate, General > External Device Manager > Input Device Manager. After that, click on Bluetooth Device List. And then, Connect & Use your controller on the smart TV.
